Description
Inspired by Nevada’s legendary Virginia & Truckee Railroad, the HO layout depicts the historic Virginia City Branch as it looked during the final years of operation in the 1930s.
The scenic highlight of the layout is a depiction of the Virginia City Historical Mining District with over 60 scratch-built and kit-bashed Victorian era buildings, stations, mines and mills.
Also available for viewing is a garden railroad designed specifically for the operation of G Scale live steam locomotives. The elevated railroad features a redwood deck, a counterweighted lift bridge and a custom built depot that also serves as a back shop and general office. Live steam locos will be running!
