The PCR 2024 Virtual Convention will feature a Virtual Train Show developed in conjunction with New Tracks Modeling. The Virtual Train show will feature 10 Model Railroad vendors and 3 Model Railroad associations.
The Virtual Train Show will let attendees (both virtual and in-person meet new vendors and understand if their products are right for their modeling. The associations will let you understand if a new scale or approach is best for you.

Vendor & Association Focus Videos
Each vendor and association is preparing a short video to introduce themselves. These will run during the open time between the end of the morning clinics and the Virtual Prototype tours and before the evening clinics. Vendor and Association Breakouts
To enable attendees to meet the vendors and associations and have detailed discussions, we are taking advantage of the breakout capability in Zoom. In the afternoon there will be one or two slots for these. Each vendor and association will have a one hour assigned time in a breakout room during a time period dedicated to breakouts and conversations. Attendees can move between the breakouts to talk to the vendors they wish to meet. This is the schedule for the Virtual Breakout Rooms.
Focus Breakout – Wireless Command Control (WCC): A proposal for a new NMRA standard
This session will discuss a proposal for a new NMRA standard to operate a layout using wireless transport protocols. This is still in its infancy and no decisions have been made yet. We will present the proposal and solicit feedback and ideas of what such a standard should entail.
